Bosse’s Crutcher named to Prime Time 25

Carrington Crutcher, a 5-foot-8, 200-pound senior running back from Bosse High School, is the lone area football player to be named to Indiana Football Digest’s Prime Time 25. In most seasons, three area players receive this recognition. Hopefully this is not an indication of a down year in Southwestern Indiana.

Despite playing on an 0-10 team, Crutcher gained 1,534 yards on 207 rushing attempts, including 14 touchdowns, last season for the Bulldogs. He was a Class 3A all-state selection. He is also considered an outstanding kick and punt returner.

Aaron Killebrew may redshirt at Indiana State

Aaron Killebrew tweeted that he may redshirt his freshman year at Indiana State University in order to get stronger and faster.

Killebrew, a 5-foot-10, 165-pound defensive back from Harrison High School, was an Indiana Football Coaches Association all-state wide receiver in 2012 and was named the Evansville Downtown Quarterback Club All-City Player of the Year.

Indiana State received honorable mention in the FCS Preseason Coaches Poll.
