Harrison High School senior forward Everett Duncan recently passed John Risinger to move into second place on the Warriors’ career scoring list. Duncan, who is among the state’s scoring leaders with a 29.0 average, has 1,264 career points. Risinger, who graduated in 1996, ended with 1,219. At his current pace, Everett should pass older brother Ernie as Harrison’s all-time leading scorer. Ernie, who is redshirting his freshman season at Vermont because of a bad back, finished with 1,498 points at Harrison, which is fifth on the City’s career list. Again, at his current pace, Everett could wind up fourth, surpassing Bosse’s Larry Weatherford, who had 1,559 before graduating in 1967. Everett will join Ernie at Vermont next season. Harrison (4-3) will return to action Friday at North. The Huskies were 4-4 entering Tuesday night’s game at North Posey.
