Memorial grad Cohlmeyer awarded OVC Academic Medal of Honor

Natalie Cohlmeyer, a sophomore reserve guard from Memorial High School, has been awarded the Ohio Valley Conference Academic Medal of Honor for maintaining a 4.0 grade-point average while majoring in Pharmaceutical studies at Belmont University.

Cohlmeyer, a prep all-stater who helped lift the Tigers to the 2011 Class 3A state title, will be one of the few student-athletes in the nation working on their College of Pharmacy PharmD program as an undergrad this fall while competing in athletics at the Division I level.

Belmont has only a 14 percent acceptance rate into its College of Pharmacy and most of those are grad students.
