Boys’ basketball ballot submitted Feb. 22


Following is the boys’ basketball ballot I submitted to The Associated Press. The statewide poll from writers and broadcasters throughout the state will be on the scoreboard page of Wednesday’s Courier & Press.
As I have stated in the past, I like to put an area team at the bottom of a poll to at least give them honorable mention.

  1. How can you vote castle # 10 and leave Bloomington South completely out of your top 10. have you forgotten that South beat Castle 66-47 . South is 18-4 vs Castle 17-4 and has played a tougher schedule.

    1. As I indicated, I try to put someone from our area at the bottom of the poll, so they will receive honorable mention. Castle has played well enough to deserve honorable mention; I’m not saying they are one of Top 10 teams in the state.
