Throwback Thursday

I’m just going back about a decade here to my time in Bangladesh where I served in the U.S. Peace Corps teaching English and doing some HIV/AIDS awareness education with at-risk populations.

This was a group of children running and playing. There was a lot of joy there.

My time there, while shorter than expected, was life-changing in many ways. While I know I took so much more away from the experience than I was ever able to give, I’m hopeful that I changed a few lives there myself.

What kind of experiences have you had that you felt really changed the course of your life?

I spent Christmas 2003 with fellow Peace Corps volunteers and their families. This was taken at the Buddhist ruins near Comilla. I'm in the top left corner.
