Throwback Thursday — festival style

I love a festival, no matter what it is celebrating. It has always been one of my favorite things to do, and I found it a great way to get to learn more about my community and those around it.

So in honor of my FIRST EVER full-fledged West Side Nut Club Fall Festival outing¬†today, (¬†I was there Tuesday morning but didn’t check out any of the food, what the festival is really known for) I’m posting some former festifal fun times.

My hubby and son are meeting me at work today, and I’m escaping a little early so we can try to beat the huge crowd. I’ve heard horror stories of trying to navigate a stroller around all the cords, booths and people and the thought of having him walk (and be trampled, run off, etc) is terrifying. Our solution will be the Ergo. We’ll see how this all goes! :)

We’ve got our Munchie Map highlighted and our game plan all worked out. I’m sure tomorrow I will let you know how it goes. Hopefully it is a gastronimcal delight, not disaster!
