At three weeks old, when I would rock Miles to sleep on my shoulder he fit snuggly between my belly button and neck.
Last night, at two-and-a-half years old, that same munchkin snuggled up on my shoulder dangles past my knees!
Miles was feeling a little under the weather last night so we snuggled together on the couch until he was able to fall asleep. I remember those early days when we would do that same thing, same couch and everything. He would be so teeny-tiny all snuggled up on my chest.
Last night, we were still laying forehead to cheek but he took up about half the length of my body. It’s moments like that where I think, “Where as the time gone!”
He was so big his daddy had to scoop him up and take him to bed as I couldn’t get up with him fast asleep on top of me.
